In all these roles, I cared for children of different ages (infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids), supporting them with daily routines, educational and recreational activities, and household tasks related to childcare.

My favorite nanny moment is found in the little everyday moments of connection with the children. Until recently, I cared for a 3-year-old (I started when he was just 1), and my favorite time of the day was right before bedtime. We would read stories, and I’d sing to him — our favorite was “Can’t Help Falling in Love” — while he drank his milk. It was such a calm, intimate moment, and one where our bond truly deepened.
