More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes: community centers in Argentina, where I worked as a social worker leading groups of children and teens; families in Westchester and Connecticut as a live-in and live-out nanny; and schools or workshops where I worked as a teacher or assistant. In all these roles, I cared for children of different ages (infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids), supporting them with daily routines, educational and recreational activities, and household tasks related to childcare.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, dancing, baking simple recipes together, reading books, going on nature walks, imaginative games, and helping with homework. I also enjoy organizing recreational outings like visits to the zoo, museums, or local parks. I always adapt activities to the child’s age and interests, encouraging creativity, learning, and fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is supporting each family’s unique parenting style and becoming a trusted partner in their child’s development. I love learning from each family and adapting to their values, while providing warmth, safety, and consistency for their children
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is found in the little everyday moments of connection with the children. Until recently, I cared for a 3-year-old (I started when he was just 1), and my favorite time of the day was right before bedtime. We would read stories, and I’d sing to him — our favorite was “Can’t Help Falling in Love” — while he drank his milk. It was such a calm, intimate moment, and one where our bond truly deepened.
