Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really love being outside with kids! Kids I babysit/nanny spend time at the pool, on walks, or at the playground with me. We love to go to the public library or play games at home.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making a difference in little lives. Adults have so much impact on children and I believe it is vital for development to have trusted relationships with adults other than their parents. I love getting to spend time with the kids and lean into their world. It such a joy to work with children.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with special needs children ages infants-13 in a classroom setting. I was a buddy for a student with down syndrome at my church while they were 3-13. I never babysat or nannied for children with special needs but I would love to change that!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was making a valentines treat with my three nanny kids for their parents! We cooked together in the kitchen and it was really fun seeing them so excited to do something for someone else! The kids and there family also came to one of my choir concerts and my graduation party! It was really sweet to be appreciated back.
