Hello everybody :)) i'm lucy, a current Health Communications major sophomore at SDSU!! I have helped out at a daycare since around 13 and then at 14, got my first babysitting job and my love for kids has grown tremendously since. I am going to college to work in a pediatric hospital if that further explains my love for kiddos!! I have a lot of paid experience with newborns up to middle school ages as well as volunteer experience with all ages, as well as kids with special needs. I can speak some spanish, so I can teach some spanish words and I love cooking, it's my favorite hobby. I have my covid vaccines, have had my license for over 2 years with a perfect record, and am about to get CPR certification. I can provide references from families. I simply want to help you with your great kids and be someone in their lives that can care for them, try new fun things with them, and most of all, be someone they trust and look forward to seeing! I am comfortable with pets, and am a non-smoker!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered for a 8 child in/home daycare from 8th grade through high school. I would go each summer for 3 days a week and help out with the kids. I made some amazing bonds and ended up babysitting a lot of those kids throughout my high school years. I still have relationships with many children from the daycare to this day and am someone who cares with my whole heart and anybody can rely on me!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love cooking and baking with kids, no matter how young, it’s so fun to see how fun it is for them! I love going on walks, doing fun arts and crafts, and if they are younger, reading books, showing them new scenery, and being a loving person they can count on.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments in general are when the kids fully trust me and can let loose and have fun knowing they are safe and cared for. I am reliable and fun, but also safe. I left for college in 2021 and a little girl I had babysat for years texts me from her mothers phone to this day and checks in on me. We have a forever bond.
