I invested in myself by taking child development classes. I worked at a private childcare facility. I recently worked at the Buena Park school district schools. I assisted and taught elementary school age kids with general education and children with special needs. I love reading with them, playing, creating projects together, I like doing things together, and I like showing them to always communicate, and express their emotions.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important thing about working with kids is making sure they feel safe with you and making sure they know they can come to you with all their insecurities. My job is to reassure them and to teach them and to let them know that they are safe with me. As well as making sure the parents feel reassured with my job in my qualities.

My experience with special needs children...

I assisted in the children, learning, getting them to settle down, finding ways of how to soothe her, is that her behavior and also help them during lunchtime.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of working with kids is when I’ve been teaching them something and they can repeat it back to me or they do it on their own. That is a very fulfilling feeling.
