More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning a variety of engaging and age-appropriate activities for children, both indoors and outdoors, to support their development and keep them active and happy.
Indoors, I like to organize creative activities such as arts and crafts, drawing, painting, puzzles, and building games. I also encourage reading time, storytelling, and music activities like singing and dancing, which help with language development and creativity. For younger children, I focus on sensory play and activities that support motor skills and early learning.
Outdoors, I love taking children to parks, playgrounds, and walks in the neighborhood, where they can explore, play freely, and develop their physical skills. I also enjoy organizing simple games, nature exploration, and outdoor play that encourages curiosity and social interaction!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The best part of being a nanny is being able to closely follow a child’s development and contribute to it. It’s being present and encouraging every step, whether through activities, reading, or even simple conversations!

One of my favorite experiences working with children was a fun and creative activity where they got to paint my hair using washable, kid-friendly paint!

Babysitter Available in New York, NY: June G.
Hi! My name is June, and I’m going into my junior year at the University of South Carolina. I’ve been working with kids since I was 12 and have experience with ages 1–14 through babysitting, teaching dance (ages 3–10), and working at a religious school with middle schoolers. I’m responsible, energetic, and positive, and I truly enjoy engaging with kids—whether that’s helping with routines, playing outside, or planning fun activities.
I’m also the President of Alpha Chi Omega and involved in Phi Gamma Nu and a consulting club, so I’m very organized and dependable. I love to cook, bake, and keep spaces clean, and I’m happy to involve kids in those activities. I’ll have my car on the island and am a very safe, responsible driver.
I’m excited to be on Nantucket this summer and would love to find a great family to work with!
