Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My most recent job was a teaching job, I worked with children ages 5-12. I created all curriculum according to each specific child’s needs. I also have experience in babysitting, I have worked for several families as a long-term sitter. I have experience in house-work, pet care, preparing and cooking meals, grocery shopping, etc. I also have relevant experience as a chef, so I am more than happy to prepare more intricate meals.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activity examples would be a game I made with my past students, we made little task cards with creative problems on them and hid them around the classroom. We made it an imposter game, and all the kids had to work together to find the imposter before all the task cards were complete.
Some outdoor activity examples would be ice skating, wild-life tours, aquarium visits, etc.

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve done lots of volunteer work in the special needs community and grew up with special needs family members. a disability does not define a child. I have experience helping with sensory issues, overstimulation, hearing disabilities, etc. Each child has their own specific needs, especially in children dealing with autism spectrum disorder. I adapt to how I handle situations like meltdowns depending on the child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A moment I hold a lot of value. My past students found out my birthday and planned me a surprise party. They set up a table in the classroom and decorated everything with yarn. They each had a hand-made gift for me with letters they all wrote.
