Hi! I'm Luna, I'm 19 years old and love to work with children from infants to early teens. I recently completed a year of service in the Army, which shaped me into a reliable, patient, and responsible person.
I have 3 years of hands-on babysitting experience with children ages 0-13 for friends and family. I'm comfortable with all activity levels, from energetic outdoor play to quiet time with books or music, relaxing at home.
I also tutored for 6 years while I was in school. I tutored and TA'd across most subjects and am especially experienced in homework help and personal studies. It is my passion to help others feel confident in their academics.
I love to cook, I can assist with basic household tasks, and enjoy creative activities. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and positive environment where children feel cared for and happy.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As mentioned in my biography, I tutored for 6 years across middle school and high school. Most of my students were younger peers. I have experience teaching reading and writing to younger kiddos, and as they get older, I've been lucky to help those same kids write their big papers. I also assisted with childcare during religious services, often watching kids while their parents attended the service or fellowship. During that time, I got to interact with kids, exploring their faith and participating in family-friendly activities.

I enjoy going outdoors and finding fun day adventures! We can always explore the park, go on easy walks, or see what fun activities are in town for the weekend. If we're staying inside, I come equipped with craft ideas, books, and easy music tutoring.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part about being a nanny is being present for the kids. As a nanny, I have the opportunity to support them in their skills and passions, and I have the responsibility of being a role model, a friend that they can look back on and remember fun lessons and experiences.
