I've worked at a mother's day out program. I have taken care of several children in my home as well as being a nanny off and on for the last ten years. I recently left one family because they are moving.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, swimming or playing in the water with a hose, playing in the snow, baking, play doh, teaching music dancing,tickles, board games, puzzles, being silly, playing dress up and learning ABC's and 123's...I love it all!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching them develop and grow and creating an atmosphere where they feel safe and are able to thrive!

My experience with special needs children...

I only cared for one and that didn't last because he got really sick. I will say my son was a preemie and was in the nic-u for a month. I don't know if that counts.
