I used to coach a sailing camp over the summers in my town. I also would babysit/nanny for a family whenever they needed me. I have plenty of experience in preparing and cleaning up meals, getting them showered, teeth brushed and into bed.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is insuring the children's safety above all, as well as their happiness. I also think that communicating and having a good relationship with the children and their families is important. The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I hadn't seen the kids I take care of in a few weeks, and when I picked them up from camp, they both ran up to me and gave me a big hug. They both told me they missed me and that they made a bracelet for at camp (which I still have and wear).
