Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to go to museums, the Lincoln park zoo, and the Shedd Aquarium!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is to provide the children we care for with live and support. Take care of them just like we take care of our own family. Be the support for the parents and ensure their babies are protected and cared for while they are not home.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children is the same as my experience with all of the children I’ve taken care of.
I minored in special education in college. Not only that, but I am knowledgeable in all aspects of early childhood and development.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I nannied for an 11 and 7 year old, and they were the coolest kids! I made sure to have them do their homework and Kumon. Helping them understand and learn made me so proud and happy. But I also loved when all their schoolwork was done, we would go outside and play tag, or jump on the trampoline, or play pretend we were superheros.
Whenever I tucked them in at night they always hugged me and said “I love you Lynnsey! Goodnight!!!” That will forever warm my heart knowing they adopted me into their family.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Chicago, IL: Gracie C.
Hi my name is Gracie! I am 19 years old and I am currently out for the summer for school and I just finished up my first year of college!
I don’t have much experience in paid babysitting, but growing up around kids my whole life has taught me to take care of kids ages from 0-9 years. For the past 3 summers i’ve been a Recreational Leader at Armour Square Park, and that allows me to work with kids from ages 4-10. I personally love kids myself, walks are fun, car rides are fun, I love being inside and outside (depending on the weather ofc). I am the oldest sibling of 3 so I personally believe I have a lot of experience and responsibilities.

I’m gentle and caring. I bring a lot of experience being in the child care field. Communication is a great strength of mine. Activity planning and on the spot problem solving. Always smiling and ready to start my day. Proactive and fun. I have a lot of energy and patience. Understanding of developmental issues changes and milestones. Great working with parents and teaching needs and goals for the child.
I have two dogs so I’m comfortable with pets and I love to be in the kitchen, so I’m definitely comfortable with meal prepping. I come from the family of a mixed background so culture is always fun to explore!
