I have experience as a nanny and teaching/directing a childcare center. My passion is nature and science. I love teaching through experiences. My belief is each child is their own person with different strengths and no child is the same. My strengths are recognizing how each child communicates and working with them in a positive way that is playful and nurturing. I have in truth been called Mary Poppins several times.

I'm searching for a full or part time but with some flexibility in schedule. Full discloser, I'm not a housekeeper but will clean up after myself and with the children. Everyone has a gift from God. I started babysitting very young, have been a personal nanny to a family for 7 years. Managed a drop in childcare center. Director of a 150+enrollment summer camp. Taught all rooms in daycare center. Director of center with 52+children and 12 staff.

Have helped raise two stepsons and have 4 grandchildren.

I love introducing new and different foods to all ages! One of my young girls, she was about 18 months, got to run errands with me. We stopped at my house to have lunch. I had different food choices then she was used to. I asked if she wanted to try an olive; she did, and she loved it. She then went to my fridge opened the door with big eyes and a smile and asked, "what else?!?". I still smile and laugh at this story!
