I love doing arts and crafts! Developing fine motor skills and also just allowing children to turn their big imaginations into something concrete! I love walks and playing in the park. My favorite activity during the summer would be some type of water play with the kiddos!

Is developing a bond that makes the child(ren) and of course parent(s) feel like I’m part of the family. Ensuring that they feel heard, safe, loved and supported even on rough days!
My experience with special needs children...
I have provided therapy to children with ASD as an RBT. My main goal was to implement the program and help my clients reach their goals and also communicate their progress with stakeholders and caregivers. And of course making sure that therapy/learning was fun and motivating and building a strong bond with my clients!
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s not a nanny moment but a clinical one. One of my clients, no matter what other tech she was with or how long it had been since I last provided her therapy, would run to me every morning and give me the biggest hug a smile. Truly a bond I cherished immensely and showed me I’ve had as much impact on them as they had me.
