During high school, I was a member of an organization that took time out of the school day to go and mentor and spend time with kids from other campuses, ranging from pre-k all the way to junior high, as well as working with the special needs program. It was my absolute favorite time of the day and I learned so many skills and life lessons, especially about working with children.
