A little bit about me

My name is Mackenzie and I’ve been working as a professional nanny for the past 2 years. I have experience with all ages, but my favorite age is infant to toddler. I also recently obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology.

I operate from an authoritative/gentle parenting perspective and that influences every aspect of my care. I emphasize social-emotional learning, firm boundaries, and learning through play! I really enjoy hands-on activities, like playing at the park, creating sensory bins, baking muffins, and even going hiking. Encouraging a love of reading is also important to me!

I have experience in both baby-led weaning and potty training. I have all my vaccinations as well as CPR/AED certification and regularly take free classes and attend seminars about child development.

I am currently seeking full-time work and will only accept positions where I am paid over the table. If you’ve never done that before, I’m more than happy to walk you through it!
