Inside I like to play any type of game if the child I’m watching wants to play with cars I’ll play with them and do the noises and if they want me to read them books I’ll do that. Whatever that child likes to do I will happily do it with them!

When I was still in school my brother was in a special needs class and I went there every day and played a little bit with some of the kids. I absolutely adore special needs children. They need love just like any other child!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was babysitting 2 little boys, a 2 and 4 year old and they were watching paw patrol and I was cleaning up after lunch and getting ready to put them down for their nap and the 4 year old tried to carry the 2 year old over to me because he had fallen asleep on the floor. Just little moments like that where I know I wore them out just enough to make them tired for their nap so they stay on schedule because the last thing I want to do is ruin a sleep schedule or any schedule.
Another moment was playing outside and the 2 year old started chasing the 4 year old with a metal bat. And as I grabbed it he said “we just playin” and I explained that someone could get really hurt if he hits them with the metal bat and he just giggled.
