My name is Mackenzie, and I love spending time with kids! Ive never been a longterm nanny but I've babysat for tons of families for date nights, weekends, and even family vacations. I am very outgoing, and adventurous. Im currently a college student, and working 2 part time jobs. I have 2 furbabies of my own that I adore so much. I think nannying would be a great job for me because I am so passionate about life and I really strive to be a happy person. I bond really well with kids, and I have a gentle personality (much like a child) that I believe makes kids more drawn to me. I love to exercise, read, write, color, draw, paint, and meditate. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as an intern in a kindergarten class, and it was one of the most eyeopening and greatest experiences I ever had. Being able to watch all those kiddos grow as not only students but also people made me so happy and proud and that was one of the most memorable things about my high school career.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play outside, draw, color, play board games, play children's games (hide & seek). I love to teach kids new things, that allow them to learn something educationally.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny is important because they are there to support whatever the child needs. They are also a huge support for the parents and gives them a chance to breathe when they need to get work done as well. But most importantly being a nanny means you get to hangout with some cool kids and be able to show them some new things in life while you help them grow for a small part of their life.

My experience with special needs children...

While I was working as an intern I worked with 3 kids who had special needs everyday. I would help them learn how to read, and write and I spent an hour with them everyday. They were some of the most precious kids Ive ever met, and by the end of the year they were reading and writing so well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a babysitter was when one of the little girls I babysat for asked me to stay the night to have a girls sleepover because I was her new best friend. That made me feel so special and happy because I was able to bring some happiness and joy into a Childs life.
