Hi there,
My name is Maddie, I am currently 23 years old and attending University of Iowa pursuing a degree in Biology. I have an extensive background in childcare work. I am the oldest of 4, so it all began caring for my younger siblings. In high school I became CPR/First Aid Certified through lifeguarding, where I also taught swimming lessons to toddlers aging from 2-4 years old. My passion working with children continued when I went to college. I was a staff member for 2 years at the After School Program of Shimek Elementary School, working with kids from kindergarten to 6th grade, which also had certified me in CPR/First Aid and CDA. I since have been nannying through care.com for 2 years now for multiple families with children raging from 1 to 12 year olds. I am currently seeking a part time position that works with my daily school schedule which ends at 1:20.
