A little bit about me

Hello there! I am a cheerful and positive child care giver with over 10+ years experience with infants, toddlers, preschool, ECAP, pre-kin, AND school age! During my time at Eastern Washington University I worked at a childcare center so I am CPR/First Aid certified, and completed multiple trainings (such as safe sleep and teaching trainings). At the childcare center I worked alone with seven 2 year olds at once. I graduated from EWU in Fall 2020 with a B.S. in Health Psychology.

I do have a reliable car and I am 27 years old. I have a 4 month old daughter who would need to come with me, or would need the kiddo(s) brought to my residence. I can work Mon-Fri. Looking for a part-time nanny position. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have worked at a childcare center and have several teaching certifications and am CPR/First Aid certified!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have played the piano since I was four years old (18 years) so I love making music with kids! Teaching others to play piano is one of my favorite things to do! I also have played soccer since I was four so I thoroughly enjoy getting outdoors and playing some footy!! I played soccer collegiately!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being involved in children’s lives. I love knowing that I am able to make a positive impact whether it’s helping with homework, working on fine/gross motor skills, etc.! I love being able to connect with the kids. My biggest priority however is keeping your child safe!

My experience with special needs children...

At the childcare center I worked with several children that had special needs. For example, I’ve worked with children that had feeding tubes, children that used a wheelchair, children on the spectrum, etc. I am very patient and understanding and working with children with special needs is very important to me, I take the job very seriously!
