More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Most recently, I have been an early childhood educator teaching children between the ages of 3 and 5 while periodically assisting teachers with younger children as young as 16 months. I have been a personal care assistant for numerous children and young adults with a range of special needs. I also devoted my studies in college to psychology with an emphasis in child development and while in college, was a volunteer at a local children's hospital for over 4 years. Lastly, immediately out of college, I worked in a mental health treatment setting with kids ranging from ages 5-18. Needless to say, working with children is my passion as it brings me so much joy and fulfillment.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been a PCA for over 10 years for children and young adults with a range of special needs. My older brother was also born with pretty significant developmental disabilities, so I have extensive experience in caring for those with special needs.
