I come from a family of 8 and being one of the oldest, I have cared for my younger siblings as they've grown up and it has given me a lot of experience for nannying. I have been nannying on and off for a couple families since I was junior in high school. I have cared for all ages from new borns to high schoolers, and loved every second of it!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Its important to me that when I am nannying, kids are being occupied in a fun and safe way. I am not a fan of tv time because I find that engaging in kids and helping them learn and use their mind is a better use of my time and your money. I always come prepared with board games, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and try to tailor activities to each kids personality so that they are getting the most fun out of it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure that kids are loved, cared for and entertained in a way that meets their needs and your expectations. I believe in having fun as much as possible, but I will abide to your rules and guidelines as your kiddos continue to grow. While kids may think anything can get by then any, it is important for you to know that I want whats best fro your child and that may not mean having fun 24/7, but working on homework together or helping get chores done, etc.
