What I found to be an important part about being a nanny is not only building relationships with the kids, but also getting to know the family as a whole, and knowing that they trust me to take care of their kids.

My youngest brother is autistic so I firsthandly know how challenging it can be because I’ve seen how challenging life can be. The past two years, I've spent a week of my summer at a special needs Christian summer camp called Camp Barnabas, where I choose one camper from my cabin to be my one-on-one buddy for the week.
