A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Madison, however I usually go by Maddie. I have my CNA (certified nursing assistant license), I am the oldest of four kids ranging from ages 17-8 (excluding me) giving me a well versed background on all age groups. I am a student at Laramie County Community College for Early Childhood Education, with the goal to become an elementary teacher! I absolutely adore kids, and I cannot wait to become a teacher someday, allowing me to have the opportunity to be an important role model for the early developmental ages!

Early childhood teacher (ages 1-5), assistant daycare provider, babysitting, helping care for my own young siblings. I also find it important to mention I have experience helping care for children with disabilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, coloring along with other crafts, going to the park, going for walks, movie days/nights, playing games (tag, board games, imaginative games, etc).

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although there are many important parts, I think being able to serve as a role model for young kids is so rewarding, and acting as an extra support person for the kiddo’s!

My experience with special needs children...

In the early childhood facility I was at I helped a lot with a child who was Autistic and nonverbal. My little brother is also on the spectrum, allowing me much more experience.
