Being in this field for quite sometime now, it’s difficult to choose just one favorite nanny moment but the one that comes to mind was with my most recent family. Their 9 year old daughter told me that she loved me, that I was her favorite nanny and that she wished I could live at their house. For an older child to express her feelings like that to me, was very special because I was aware she has had almost a different caregiver every year since she was an infant, so she finds it difficult to connect to the Nannie’s when they have to change. So for her to feel comfortable enough to tell me that she loves me was a huge deal.
