I volunteered with children through Loveworks in Norman, Oklahoma when I lived there. I spent around 10 hours weekly helping children with behavioral issues understand how to express their emotions and feelings and helped them when they struggled with school or understanding why they felt what they did.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to read, draw, paint, go for walks, explore kid-friendly places, and help them educationally. I absolutely love having the opportunity to help children understand their emotions and feelings and I love to always find something to do that is encouraging to children in one way or another.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part of being a nanny is always putting the children first, I am the adult in the situation and I have the opportunity to always ensure their safety and wellbeing. If they are having a bad day I see it as my responsibility to make their day better and find ways to problem solve through their big feelings.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My absolute favorite moment while caring for a child was when she asked me to teach and help her learn to play volleyball, I would give her lessons during our time together and now she is 14 and volleyball has become her favorite sport to play. It warmed my heart seeing her grow as a person and a player.
