I love doing all activities with children whether it's inside or outside. I can also teach little games that will help them with coordination skills. I love watching kids succeed at these games because they always feel so accomplished.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny would be to make the kid or kids feel comfortable. I like to make the kids know they can trust me but they also need to respect me since I would be in charge. I think if the kids trust me it grows a better relationship where they will want to listen to me.
My experience with special needs children...
In high school I would go to the special needs class rooms and play with the kids in there. This was actually one of my favorite experiences because I grew friendships with some of them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments would have to be when I watched this 8 year old boy. He had finished all of his chores and reading he had to do that day but it was so hot outside so we stayed in. While we were inside we played so many different games and me and him just bonded so much and I got to see his true personality come out and it was so much fun. Also, to top it all off, when we were done I even made a game out of cleaning up and he loved it!
