I am mom of 1 to the sweetest little girl. My first job was working with children and I knew that working with children was the life for me. I have devoted my life to putting smiles of peoples faces(kids and adults). I am an out of the box thinker who likes to get creative. I am an energizer bunny. The most important part about being a nanny...

Being in the child care field for so long and now being on the other side being a mother myself it is communication and building that bond between not only me and parents but me and the kiddo(s). With out building that trust and communication there is no sturdy base to grow. You are trusting someone with the care and safety of your child so it is my responsibility to make that the smoothest transition as possible.

My experience with special needs children...

I have family and friends with children who have ADHD and Autism. I have taken classes on special needs and how they affect to brain and how their development may be.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I still stay in contact with a family that I used to nanny for. He is the kindest little boy and I’ve enjoyed going to every single birthday he has had. One time I was invited to visit after and he hadn’t seen me since I stopped being his nanny. His eyes lit up as he remembered me and wanted to show me all his new toys and his favorite show. It was the best feeling knowing I had made such a great impact on him. Also just watching him grow and thrive is always my favorite. That’s for any child I have cared for.
