It’s definitely being patient and level headed as kids do go through many emotions and don’t know how to manage it. As the adult and nanny it is important that I am able to regulate their emotions without getting overwhelmed.

I have worked with children who are on the autism spectrum (mainly high functioning). As well as children with ADHD and anger disorders.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when a mother texted me if I could come by for a few hours just because her two daughters kept asking when they were gonna see me!! It really warmed my heart. The older daughter also asked me to do her the same way I had mine and we took a picture together!
