More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Aside from previous childcare experience, I also coached preschool gymnastics. This role gave me valuable experience adapting to each child's individual needs, supporting their development, and creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy hands-on activities like arts and crafts, outdoor play, and creative games. I love planning activities that keep kids active and curious wether its a nature walk, story time, simple baking, or even small science experiments!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part is making sure children feel safe, supported, happy and they are having fun! I believe children grow best when they have fun and know they can trust the person caring for them. Building positive relationships, encouraging curiosity, creating a consistent loving environment are all things I value.
My experience with special needs children...
My eldest brother has special needs, so I have grown up learning how to care for and adapt to his unique needs. I am comfortable supporting children who need extra help with routines, communication, or sensory needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was taking my former nanny girl out for spa day to get her nails done. It was such a fun and memorable experience, she felt so special and everyone at the salon could not stop talking about how sweet she was. Seeing her light up with excitement when I told her our plans for the day reminded how important it is to create those little moments for kids to feel loved and confident.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Lubbock, TX: Kylie P.
Hi! My name is Kylie, and I’m a post-grad student at Texas Tech. I’ve been caring for children from a young age and have always been the responsible older cousin and neighbor. With young siblings at home, I helped care for and was often responsible for watching over them, which gave me valuable hands-on childcare experience.
I’ve continued building my experience through nannying and other childcare positions. I genuinely love working with children and enjoy engaging with them through play and following their interests through child-led activities.
I have a reliable car and am open to taking kids on day-time outings! I’m also comfortable making simple meals and cleaning up after meals and activities.
I’ve worked with children with special needs and behavioral needs, and always strive to be patient, flexible, and supportive. I value communication with parents and like to learn about family routines, priorities, and parenting styles so I can provide consistent, thoughtful care.
