In the past few years, I have studied Early Childhood Education while working in a variety of childcare environments. At Plum Canyon Elementary, I ran the after-school childcare program, where I oversaw 151 students ranging in age from 3 to 10 and a small staff. I then transitioned to College of the Canyons Childcare, where I worked as a Teacher's Assistant under my college professors. This allowed me to implement my education hands-on while learning directly from experts to care for children aged 0-5. Lastly, I transitioned to teaching TK and Kindergarten at a local private school. Each position included caring for children with a range of Special Needs. I have completed background checks for each position and maintained my Infant and Standard CPR and First Aid certifications for the last 3 years.
