I have five younger siblings and have spent most of my life being the caretaker of them, as well as being a part time care taker to other family member's children. I am very familiar with kids and their needs and feel comfortable in that kind of environment
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to hike and previously worked on a farm, so I love to incorporate outdoors activities and gardening activities in with children. Its fun and exciting but can also be educational! I LOVE doing art, and it is a very fun and creative activity that I enjoy doing with kids too. Any kind of activity that can involve using your hands, creativity, and adding a bit of education to it as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me being able to communicate well with not only the parents, but especially the children. Making them feel comfortable is so important, given that I am an outsider coming in to their home, and they are putting their trust in me to care for their children. Respecting boundaries of everyone involved!
