I grew up in the tourist town of Shipshewana, Indiana. Around 17, I moved in with my grandmother to help with my mentally handicapped aunt. Ever since a young age I knew I wanted to work with Mentally handicapped children/young adults. After living with my grandmother and helping her with my aunt I knew that this is my passion! My daily routines consist of, G-tube feeding two students twice a day, along with assisting in helping all students with using the restroom.
