Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a worship leader at my church, which involved helping the kids get prepared to sing, memorize the songs. We also did special occasion things for Mother/Father’s day. Which they and I also enjoyed.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The lady I used to babysit for, since I loved to bake, I would show the children how to measure and read the ingredients while they helped make the certain recipes. Also, I loved going outside with them to swim, play tag, pushing them on the swing. We played barbies, took naps, and played hide and seek on the rainy days. I also like watching movies with them and enjoy being in their presence. I usually let the kids choose what they want to do though.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I loved when the kids would ask when you’re coming back to babysit them again. It not only made me feel special, but it also made them happy. I think that it is important to be an impact on that child’s life.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have experience with special needs children, but I just finished my 8-week education class on special needs children. So all I know is how to provide care with ADHD and Allergies as of right now.
