Hi! My name is Madison, I’m 20 years old, and I’m currently a college student. I’ve been working in childcare since I was about 15, primarily with children ages 6 months to 5 years old. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been working with children at Chunk’s learning center going on five years. I primarily work with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, but I’ve also had experience with school age children from volunteering with lots of clubs in high school aswell as during the summer Chunk’s learning center opens a school age summer camp and I’ve worked with children of older ages as well. I’ve also work as a dance teacher teaching children ages 3 year old to 12 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m a former competitive dancer so I find it enjoyable to do yoga and upbeat dancing/ aerobics with children inside. Inside I also like to make sure I’m incorporating some kind of learning throughout the day wether that’s reading a book, coloring, puzzles, or even flash cards. Outside I love to play games like tag, sharks and menos, and cloud watching.

Over the years I’ve worked with a plethora of children with disabilities from physical to cognitive. I believe that children with special needs/disabilities should have equal opportunities as neurotypical or physically able people have, they just need the right tools to blossom.
