A little bit about me

I like to consider myself an outgoing and adventurous person to those I meet. Being active outdoors is a passion that I grew up throughout living in Montana. I’ve had the opportunity to hold various jobs over the years throughout high school as well as college and learned a lot from each experience. I decided I wanted to be a Nanny when I worked with kids at a residential facility as I finished my degree in Psychology at UVU. I enjoyed getting to be a nurturing hand in their journey but also explore holding firm boundaries and lines that assisted in their return back home. I loved being around the kids and seeing them grow and progress into who I knew they could be. I hope to share similar experiences with your kiddos and create a safe space for them to engage with the world around them.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Starting in 2022 until May of 2025 I worked at a residential facility with kids to help them learn coping skills and nurture qualities that would benefit them in the long run.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Something I found very peaceful and exciting was when I took the kids at my residential facility on color walks outside. This allowed each kid the time to look outside of what is often right in front of them. I love to bake as well and often found myself pulling one of the kids at my work to assist me with baking a treat. I believe small and tender moments like that truly helped with building a relationship.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe it is keeping the child safe. Throughout my experience working at the residential facility I found that kids were more likely to have a better relationship with me when they knew I could keep them safe. This can mean emotionally and physically as well. Recognizing that both are equally important in their own ways encourages us as adults to look out for the kids.
