Hi there! I would love to be your next sitter. My name is Madysine and I am an 18-year-old student, with years of childcare experience in several different settings. During my junior and senior years of high school, I worked with elementary students daily in their classrooms. I also previously provided assistance in managing an afterschool program. I've spent last three summers caring for two kiddos full time and frequently help out bonus families on weekends. I am CPR & First aid certified, with child development & care courses under my belt as well. I am water safety certified as well. I am working towards becoming a teacher and would love to assist your family!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

- Three consecutive summers of babysitting Mon-Fri for a then 4, now 6 yr old girl and then 8, now 10 yr old boy.
- Puppy & dog care while housesitting and babysitting
- Several months experience as an assistant after school program coordinator at Springs Valley Elementary
- Two school years of cadet elementary teaching, early ed, child development, and ed professions classes
- Worked three seasons on the Polar Express train ride, where I catered to the needs of children and families while entertaining

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

- I absolutely love getting outdoors with my kiddos and finding alternative ways to play outside of a screen.
- I have experience with building independent play skills, but I also love to be hands-on playing board games or making crafts right alongside them
- Involving my babysitting kids in making snacks and doing chores is also a joy of mine, teaching them responsibility while still having fun!

As a teacher's assistant at an elementary school, I float between preschool and elementary classrooms providing behavior support for students with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is definitely when I see local children who I have cared for in the past unexpectedly, like running into them at the grocery store or the school. They are always so excited and though I will never forget them, I'm so glad they haven't forgotten me!
