More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For the past six years, I have regularly babysat my younger cousin, caring for her from pre-kindergarten through her current middle school years. My responsibilities included supervising daily activities, preparing meals and snacks, helping with bedtime routines, assisting with personal hygiene such as brushing teeth, and providing a safe and supportive environment.
In addition, I volunteer at my church's summer student camp, where I help supervise and engage with children and students during activities and events. I also volunteer at my mother's school throughout the year, assisting with school events and interacting with children in a variety of settings.
These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, patience, responsibility, and childcare skills while working with children of different ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy include reading, arts and crafts, drawing, imaginative play, board games, dancing, outdoor play, and nature walks. I love helping children explore their creativity, stay active, and build new skills while having fun. I also value creating opportunities for children to interact, laugh, and learn away from screens whenever possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, nannying is about more than just making sure a child eats their meals, takes their naps, and sticks to a schedule. Those things are important, but some of the most meaningful moments happen in between. It's about building a bond, sharing laughs, creating memories, and allowing children the space to simply be kids.
I believe childcare is about more than keeping children occupied. It's about helping them learn, explore, build confidence, and experience new things while still having fun. Whether we're reading, creating something together, going on a nature walk, hosting a talent show, or having a spontaneous dance party, I want children to feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite things to do while babysitting is host little talent shows. Whether it's a new trick they learned, a dance they made up, a song they want to sing, or a skill they've been practicing, I love giving children a chance to show what they're proud of. Sometimes it's just for us, and sometimes they get excited and want to perform for their parents later.
Another one of my favorite things is our spontaneous dance parties. Whether it's at the beginning of the day, after a nap, before bedtime, or just because we need a quick break, I love turning on some music and dancing together. Seeing the smiles on their faces and hearing all the laughter and giggles fill the room is something I'll never get tired of. Some of my favorite memories come from those simple moments where we put everything else aside, have fun, and just enjoy being silly together.

Hi! I’m a 37-year-old Deaf mom and an aspiring nanny. While I’m new to professional nannying, I have 11 years of hands-on parenting experience raising my two sons, who are now 11 and 6.
I especially love caring for babies and helping them learn, grow, and communicate. As a Deaf person, I enjoy teaching babies simple signs before they can speak, giving them an early way to express their needs and feelings.
I’m loving, patient, easygoing, attentive, and dependable. I’m working toward my CPR and First Aid certification and will use a baby-cry alert with a flashing-light signal to help me respond quickly.
I’m also happy to complete a background check. I’m waiting for my replacement ID after losing it the day I created this profile, and I’ll complete the check as soon as it arrives.
