My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for special needs children(mostly autism) for my whole life due to my mother being an autism consultant. For the last 2 summers I have run a summer session at greenway high school teaching children life skills such as reading, cooking, cleaning and social skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when I taught one of the girl’s I babysat how to ride a bike. It brought me so much joy seeing them feel so accomplished.
