A little bit about me

Hello, parents! I am an experienced nanny and assistant daycare teacher based out of the Dunn, NC area who is CPR/AED Certified, a non-smoker, and is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I provided care for two children (ages six months and three years) for a weekly full-time schedule beginning in June of 2020 and continuing through August of 2021, when the children were able to resume their formal education once COVID-19 protocols became more relaxed. After that time, I provided care for my nephew (age two years) on weekdays while my sister worked. I have been working as an early childhood teacher in Clayton, NC since mid-December of 2022, but I truly miss the focused care and connection found through nanny work and so am searching for my next opportunity. I am able to provide multiple positive references and proof of my certifications. I am happy to assist with light housekeeping, errands, etc. as well. Thank you! :)

I am VERY proud of and grateful for my nannying-related Pinterest boards! I have collected a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activity ideas that I have personally tested out already - and these ideas are kid-approved! Even better, they are activities I have picked out and saved to use again later because they contribute to the child's development - relating to learning letters and numbers, developing fine motor skills, exploring their creativity, or engaging them in fun sensory experiences!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I am passionate about nurturing and engaging young minds, to prepare them for their bright futures and to form a lasting, trust-filled connection with their families. I always prioritize safety first, while showing each child the utmost care and understanding as they explore the world around them. I find it to be the most rewarding work to help families create as loving and enriching of an environment as possible for their children!

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited experience working with special needs children, but I am ready and willing to learn. For a few months during my early twenties I was a regular week-night babysitter for a young boy who was on the autistic spectrum.
