I was both an assistant and lead teacher at a daycare facility prior to having my own children, primarily in the infant and toddler rooms. I was also a private nanny prior to switching to the daycare.

I love going to the zoo, doing crafts, and reading with children. I also like going to different playgrounds and libraries to let them play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is first and foremost the safety and wellbeing of that child- physically, emotionally, and mentally. I think a very important second to that though is having a strong relationship with the parents so they know that their child is being well cared for while they’re gone, and that trust is there between all.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with medically complex children including feeding tubes, medications, vital checks, and have an extensive background to be able to tell when something may be more than just a little cold or fever.
