A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Maimouna and I’ve been working with kids for about 8 years now. I’m currently a 3rd grade teacher, and before that, I taught 4th grade for two years. I’ve also worked in afterschool programs and summer camps, so I’ve had the chance to work with kids ages 5 to 12 in all kinds of settings.

One of the best parts of working with children is building strong connections with them and creating a safe space where they feel comfortable and supported. I love seeing their personalities shine and watching them grow over time.

Outside of teaching, I’m great with tutoring and I enjoy cooking, so I’m happy to help out with homework and meals. I’m excited about the opportunity to be a nanny and bring the same care and attention I give my students into a more personal setting with a family.
