Hello! My name is Makaila. I have been in this career field for most of my life!! I love children and I love my job and helping families! I am Cpr and first aid certified! I do have a bunch of references of families I have dealt with as well that can share their experiences with me. The most important part about being a nanny...

You’ve probably heard this alot “making a difference” or “helping out” but it’s the truth. When you are welcomed into a home, and the parents trust you with their precious creation, you are making a difference and helping because it takes a village to raise children. I love what I do.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with multiple special needs children while working in the daycare field. You treat them like you would any other kid and show them love! Of course they might more need more attention but you work with the child and tend to their needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Both parents were super busy that day, barely home, so I had both kids ages 1 & 4 at the time. We at first tried a kids museum but it ended up being closed! The 4 year old was so sad about it, she wanted to do something fun and during this time it was super hot out. So I decided to go back to the house , and ask if she wanted to do our own water park!!! She was so happy and so I used what the parents had in their garage to just make like mini water obstacles for her to run around and get wet while the sprinkler was on! The 1 year old wasn’t forgotten she got wet too! :) They were having so much fun I took pictures and videos and sent it to their parents.
