More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a babysitter for children off and on for 3 years. The first time I 16 and that was for two boys Luke and Isaac. Shortly after she had another child I babysitted him as well. My very last time was November of last year I was babysitting Esme she had down syndrome I stopped due to relocation. I also have short time jobs babysitting for a day or two. When I would babysit at I would also meal prep, teach, and clean. I would also clean out the fridge, the bathrooms, and also would help with laundry.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy teaching, crafts, storytelling, board games, making the kids laugh, playing outside, watching TV or movies with them, and charades.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important parts is being able to know when to do things without being asked, picking up on the kids needs, being able to help a kid in destress, and having a strong connection to the parents so you can easily communicate problems.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had off and on experience for 2 years with babysitting kids with down syndrome and other special needs. I've watched kids that have dandy walker, ADHD, anger issues, and generalize/social anxiety. I'm wanting to learn how to take care of more special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Every moment is my favorite moment. Being able to care for kids and share my love with them is all I could ever ask for. Helping them cheer up as soon as their parents walk out the door is a special moment. Keeping them occupied and happy is a challenge but it's worth it.
