Hello I’m Kayla!
Im looking to meet a loving family with care needs for a child from infant to preschool age. I would like to start in late May early June!
I’ve been working in childcare (daycare teacher) for three years now and I’ve been working towards my AA in ECE. I have completed my certificate of proficiency in ECE at Whatcom Community College.
Im very patient with children with the care and motivation to work towards goals. I enjoy communicating with families and working together.
I’ve worked mostly with preschool age 3-4 and pre k age 4-5, but I’m also very confident and comfortable being with infants and toddlers as I’ve been a float teacher before a became a lead at my current daycare.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked in a daycare for three years and I was a lead for 1.5 of those years with the preschool kids age 3-4 . Before I was lead preschool teacher I was early preschool age 2-3. When I first started at the daycare I was with the infants for the first year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite thing to do to engage with children is art and reading. I love seeing how they express themselves differently through art and seeing their ideas flourish. I also like reading because kids always love to see themselves with the story or at younger ages it gets their brains exploring new ideas.
