Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Being the oldest daughter of 8, I've been around the chaos of children since I can remember. I've worked at the same summer camps for 6 years and traveled as an Au Pair for a family in Milton, Mass. Most recently, I've been working with ages 18 months to 6 graders. With the program, I have taught swim lessons, planned educational lessons plans, stem activities for older kiddos, etc, etc.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
This is a long list for myself but things simple as going to local parks, visiting farms, gardens, apple orchards.
I love mixing in STEM with anything I do with older kiddos. I've made plenty of erupting sand volcanoes as an example. Animal and nature exposure is something I am a big fan of. Making music, singing and rehearsing movies or plays together. Being in the kitchen and helping cook/bake meals and snacks.

My experience with special needs children...
I have a long list of conditions that I have had exposure too.
I have had experience with children that have had feeding tubes, colostomy bags, nasal gastric tubes placements. ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Diabetes 1 and 2, as well as eating disorders. I have a way of connecting with kiddos that deal with these conditions and a bit of inside knowledge.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I wouldn't say I have a singular favorite moment. It's more when you see the positive effect the connection you've made with the kiddo come to flower. It is a beautiful process and one of my favorite.
