More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started as a babysitter when I was 12 years old. I just turned 22 and am a responsible COVID safe individual. I babysat consistently over the last 10 years. I was a tutor for 2 years working under a local teacher in Chico, CA. I was then hired by CARD (Chico Area Recreation and Park District) working for their summer camps and after school programs until I became a private nanny and tutor for a "pod" a group of individuals created. I have 500+ hours from internships throughout my undergraduate at California State University, Chico that dealt with children as well. I have a complete list of experiences I can provide as well to demonstrate how qualified I am. I just moved to Irvine, CA for my Master of Art in Teaching and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at UC Irvine. I will start my student teaching when schools start back up to add onto my experience. I am also available on M/W after 7:15.

I have worked with lots of children with special needs. Consistently I have worked with children with down syndrome and autism. I have my minor in special education and have interned in a special education classroom.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when I took 4 girls on a hike in Northern California for the day and we had a picnic. It was one of the best times I have had with them or when we went to an arcade and got pizza and so much fun. It is fun getting to play with the kids I work with and that is one of the best parts. Building connections with the kids I work with is something that I think is so important.
