Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I just finished my student teaching where I worked for a semester in a 1st grade classroom. I also recently worked as a childcare teacher in a preschool/daycare and as a summer camp teacher. I have experience working with 4-10 year olds. I have also been babysitting on and off for about 7 years in which I have worked with infants, toddlers, and grade-school aged children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to take walks, hang out at the park, go swimming, and encourage the kids to be active. Reading books, playing games, and watching movies inside is always fun too!
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with multiple special needs children through my student teaching experience in 1st grade, as well as working with preschoolers. I have worked with students with autism, including nonverbal children, and students with high behavioral needs.
