I’ve taken care of my young cousins, ranging from 5 months to 15 years olds:) I have also taken care of children in special needs in school and as well as children from different districts such as in special olympics.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping the children active and play with them. Make them food. Play any games they like as well as encourage them to unleash their inner artist from drawing to painting to building things. And if permitted by the parents and if the child is old enough I like to take them on adventures to the museum, the park or even a quick walk to get their daily exercise in.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is to always keep the child I am taking care of as my very first priority and always tend to their needs. As well as look out for them and keep them away from harms away. Most important part about being a nanny is to be comfortable with whoever am I taking care of and make sure the child itself is open and comfortable with me:)
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children is very well. I’ve helped tend to them for a whole year in my junior year. As well as this year and also children coming from different special needs programs to come to my school. Which then I would help them keep active. Take care of them as well as try to keep them comfortable with me and with any person around them:)
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was making food for my baby cousin and instead of continuing playing with her car toy she said she’s going to help me and started putting together a bunch of plates for us. It was too adorable and pure adoration from me.
