As a teacher, I have had children with 504 plans in my classroom who struggled with ADHD and low spectrum Autism. I have experience with this only.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One day in my second grade classroom, I asked the students to share what they wanted to be when they grew up. One little boy excitedly raised his hand and said, "I want to be a dinosaur!" The whole class burst into laughter, and even I couldn’t help but chuckle. We then had a fun discussion about what kind of dinosaur he would be and what it would be like to have a dinosaur as a classmate. It was a hilarious and imaginative moment that brightened everyone’s day.
