A little bit about me

Hi! I'm 23 years old and from Atlanta, GA. I am a senior at the University of Georgia and will graduate in the fall with a journalism degree from Grady College. I will be back home in December but will be commuting to Athens in the spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am looking for a nannying job with a MWF schedule (and weekends if needed).

I have a little brother who is 7 years younger than me, so I have helped care for him from a very young age. In middle school, I started babysitting for multiple families in my neighborhood in East Cobb. I then nannied some summers in high school and early college. I have cared for and am comfortable with children of all ages. I love pets, especially dogs, so I enjoy walking the whole crew and spending time in nature. But I am, of course, adaptable to any family's needs.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteer work at a shelter that provides less fortunate families with appliances for their first homes. While the directors assisted the adults, I played with the kids.

I enjoy anything the children I am caring for enjoy, whether it's being active outside or arts and crafts inside... whatever the kids love, I love.

Knowing the impact your presence has on the kids. I hope to enrich the development of each and every kid I care for.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have a special needs education or certificate, but I am open to any needs, whatever they may be. I babysat a child with ASD several times earlier this year.

My little brother has processing issues, so I have had to learn what works best for him as I've helped him study since early elementary school.

I practice patience and mindfulness and do my best to implement them in all things in my daily life.
