More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done volunteer work at a shelter that provides less fortunate families with appliances for their first homes. While the directors assisted the adults, I played with the kids.
I have also volunteered as a small group leader in North Point's network of churches.
Currently, I am volunteering as a youth soccer coach for second grade girls at Mt. Bethel Church in Marietta.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy anything the children I am caring for enjoy, whether it's being active outside or arts & crafts or board games inside... whatever the kids love, I love.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Knowing the impact your presence has on the kids. I hope to enrich the development of each and every kid I care for.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have a special needs education or certificate, but I am open to any needs you have.
I myself was diagnosed with ADHD and sensory issues in middle school, so I feel confident caring for kids in the same situation:)
My little brother (who is a high school senior now) has processing issues, so I have had to learn what works best for him as I've helped him study and complete projects since he was in elementary school.
I have babysat a 12-year-old boy with ASD several times in the past year.
I practice patience and mindfulness and do my best to implement them in all things in my daily life.

The best feeling is when a parent tells me that their kids are asking when I'm going to be back!

I'm a single mom of three (6,8,9) and currently in my first year of chiropractic program at Life University. Prior to having my own children I've worked as aupair (live in nanny) for a family of 3 children, boy 1, girl 2. Being a mom of three on my own has only solidified my love for children. As a person I'd describe myself as very patient, assertive, respectful and easy going. I'm comfortable with household chores, cooking and tidying up. It would be my pleasure to take care of your bundle of joy by creating safe and loving the environment.
