Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor lends itself to cooking, reading, arts and crafts and playing make belief. However I am definitely an outdoors person, I love hiking, camping, canoeing, swimming, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My priority is to make the children feel safe and loved. I like to cook their favorite foods and read to them before going to sleep. Secondly, but equally important is keeping the children clean and happy. I like to teach them personal hygiene and good eating habits.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Maybe not funny but certainly memorable, fly overnight from Texas to California to babysit for 3 weeks. Another was when I couldn't babysit because I had surgery but children demanded to be with me at 3 in the morning so they slept on the edge of bed quietly. Playing with mud pretending to get an expensive mud treatment. Also every child is always grateful when I know what to feed them to make them feel better.
